Tibet Day to be organized by Bristol4Tibet and Bristol Refugee Festival

Bristol: Tibet Day will be organised by Bristol4Tibet at St Werburgh’s community centre on 12th June 2022. It forms an integral part of the annual Bristol Refugee Festival, where Bristol4Tibet will be sharing the beautiful and unique Tibetan culture to the people of Bristol and beyond.

The vibrant Tibetan community in Bristol will showcase the rich Tibetan cultural heritage featuring Tibetan songs and dances & food. There will be cultural performances, a short documentary movie about Tibet, delicious momos, and Tibetan cultural dance teaching session too.

Bristol Refugee Festival coordinates a collaborative year-round programme of arts, cultural and educational events, bringing together communities from across Bristol and beyond to connect, share and celebrate. The aim is  to celebrate the contribution that refugees and asylum seekers make to the city, create a better understanding of why people seek sanctuary, help overcome misconceptions and promote successful community cohesion.
