I am a prisoner,

Confined by someone so strong and powerful.

They restrain my hand when I reach for freedom,

Silencing my voice when I speak for Truth and Justice.

I am a prisoner,

Captured by someone so strong and powerful.

They confined me when I write for Rights,

Restraining me when I cling to the truth too tightly.

I am a prisoner,

Held captive by someone so strong and powerful.

They plunder my home when I own the Truth and Justice,

Imprisoning me when the world trades human rights away.
