Dharamshala: The Department of Religion (DRC) under the Central Tibetan Administration has announced a cultural and language immersion program in partnership with the College for Higher Tibetan Studies.
The 3-week program aims to bridge the gap for Tibetan students studying in Indian schools to better integrate them with the Tibetan community and culture.
The Summer Language and Cultural Immersion Program (SLCIP) will employ academic work, language study, social emotional and ethical learning (SEE) and field-trips to help participants in understanding cultural heritage, tradition, challenges in preserving Tibetan culture and issues associated with Tibet.
