To mark Lamdon's Golden Jubilee, the Lamdon Yarchos-Chenmo-2023 will be held with the theme "Connecting People Through Science, Compassion, and Secular Ethics."
According to reports, His Holiness Dalia Lama has agreed to preside over the Lamdon Yarchos-Chenmo-2023. "This is the result of our earnest and deliberate efforts to advocate for and promote His Holiness's dedication to Science, Compassion, and Secular Ethics", a spokesperson said.
Lamdon and schools throughout Ladakh can play an important role in mainstreaming Science, Compassion, and Secular Ethics. His Holiness is the Buddha of Compassion, the source of happiness and peace, and the sole object of refuge for all sentient beings. He is incomparable in his efforts to preserve and spread the Buddha's teachings, the sole medicine that alleviates the suffering of all trans-migratory beings, allowing them to flourish without degeneration, added the spokesperson.
